Guide to install VXDIAG VCX NANO Toyota Techstream V17.00.020

Step1. Install Techstream

Run “Techstream_Setup_V17.00.020.exe” software >> Select language >> Next >> Accept agreement, Next >> Fill in details: user name & company name, Next >> Install >> Finish

Installation complete.

Step2. Install VX Manager

Run “VX Manager 1.8.6.1224.exe” software >> Next >> Select “PASSTHRU - J2534”, “TOYOTA - TechStream”, Next >> Finish

Run VX manager to check if the connection is successful:

Diagnostic >> Check if “PASS THRU” & “Toyota TIS” are with green ticks.

Step3. Run Techstream Patch

Once done, delete Techstream desktop icon. Drag Techstream patch file to desktop and run it:

Run Techstream Patch software >> Offline mode >> Next >> Select “Engine & RCT”, Next

Step by step procedure:

5 tips for installing ODIS 4.4.10 Post Setup 69.0.20
1) when uninstalling version 4.3.3, when the window choose what you want to uninstall (license, data, etc ...), I didn't select any, and I have kept the directory, and after installing the 4.4.10, all ok, at least for the time being ... that if, you have to install the windows updates by framework theme and things like that ....

2) Only works on WIN7, try win 8 10 at your own lucky.

3) Run it as administrator.

4) The method to install Odis service update 4_4_10-EU: There is another file which comes with the launcher-archive. It is a jar file which has to copy to the plugins folder.
Do a new install and before first start copy both Launcher and jar. After that the post-setup is nice!!!

5) You can use ODIS 4.4.10 from 1st version of each Audi, VW, Skoda, Seat...etc which use OBD2.

Customer feedback: VXDIAG VCX NANO Program Ford Fiesta 2006 spare key

Received VXDIAG VCX NANO for Ford Mazda in the UK 6 days after initial order, so not bad.

To start with the software installation can be a little problematic to the point I Installed up to V96 only, however as I am using on an 2006 Fiesta it more than adequate for my needs.

I purchased the device because I needed to program an ebay purchased key to the vehicle PATS system as I only had one key when I brought the car and really wanted a spare in case of loss or damage

VCX NANO was able to delete all old keys from the system then and add 2 new keys, whilst I was there I did some software updates on the PCM.

Honestly it really is a good device and works perfectly once you get over the software issue.

A bit of advice with the software is use virtual machine (its easier to delete and start again), and follow video guides found on youtube

Here is a quick guide for my success:
Use Virtual machine installer found on CD V100, install VM then create a VM
Then on the virtual machine
Install calibration from V81 CD
Install V91 from V100 CD and reboot without opening software
Once rebooted open software and agree to 3 day licence, enter any details
Close software and Install V96 and reboot without opening
Once rebooted you can open software
Install software on CD V100 for the VX device
At this point I just installed deep freeze found on cd V100
