Choose which tool and how to do Sprinter 906 key programming

Have Mercedes Sprinter 906 to make a new one. Both VVDI MB Tool and CGDI MB tool can do, how to do? Read below paragraphs.

1. VVDI MB Tool

Guide:
start by read key data via OBD. But if all keys are lost, we need remove the key module.
1.1 Remove EZS from car.

1. 2 Prepare key file for your new key.
• Read EIS data, and save the data it reads out.
• Get Key Password.
• Password Calculation.
• Connect device OBD line to car.
Connect IR adapter to VVDI MB Tool.
Data Acquisition.
Save acquisition.
• Prepare Key File.
• Copy the key password from previous step.
• And click "Prepare key file",then "Load EIS File" you have saved.
• Paste key password, and choose Key number. Waiting the prepare key file process.
• Save key file.
• Write Key.

1.3 Put the key into Ignition and it will start the key teach in process and central locking will start to work, because all keys were lost, we also delete keys to prevent theft.

1.4 Use Condor XC-MINI cut the new key blade.

3. If you want just a spare key I recommend you to contact a local vehicle locksmith or the dealer.
The tools to make Mercedes keys (and as a business) are many, Abrites, MBE, VVDI MB, CGDI as newer generation. Old generations, MCU read you may need AK500, R260, R270, etc, then calculate keys, online or offline with tools like SKC, etc, programmers for keys are plenty ...

In short, probably minimum expcences to have a key with tools on your own a couple of thousands.
